Introduction

SiLQCOM 2013 is the meeting that has gathered the Latin American chemical communities, from the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia, to the Río Bravo border of Mexico, including Spain, and hopefully Portugal in the near future, who research the fields of Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry. The central idea of the Symposium is to know the scientific advances, and to establish collaborations among the research groups involved in all areas of Inorganic Chemistry: Catalysis, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Inorganic and Hybrid Materials, Nanomaterials, among others
