Introduction

Sheffield and District Å·ÃÀAV committee invite you to a research symposium for local researchers to celebrate the breadth and quality of research in Sheffield.  This event is organised by students and staff from UoS and SHU to bring together local scientists from Chemistry, Biosciences, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Forensic Science, Nanomaterials, Material Science, and any other 'chemically' related research. The idea is that PhD students and early researchers (and maybe final year students if they are around and keen) attend and present a short (10 min) talk or poster of their work (or both). Please submit your abstract by 23rd June 2025 indicating if you would prefer a talk, poster or both. Abstracts can be submitted by e-mail to james.mcgregor@sheffield.ac.uk. The event includes food and drink, please advise of any allergies.
