Å·ÃÀAV Advances recognise outstanding work published in the journal through our Outstanding Student Awards, where a substantial component of a published article in the journal was conducted by a student. In 2023, we received over 700 nominations, which were shortlisted, and the winning papers were then selected by our Editorial Board and Associate Editors.

During this webinar, part two of a three-part series, the 2023 winners of the Å·ÃÀAV Advances Outstanding Student Award will present their research and will be available to answer questions from the audience.

Programme

9:00 (BST) Introduced and co-chaired by Å·ÃÀAV Advances Associate Editors Lubomir Rulisek (Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences) and Shivani Bhardwaj Mishra (University of South Africa), the following student award winners will present their research:

Energy Chemistry: Naufal Hanif Hawari, A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research), Singapore
Environmental Chemistry: Valtteri Suorsa, University of Helsinki, Finland
