Unlocking the rare earth elements (REEs) for today's technology

11 April 2024 18:30-21:00, Hull, United Kingdom

Introduction
William Izod, Chief Commercial Officer of UK company Pensana joins us to discuss the fascinating world of Rare Earth Elements (REEs); what they are, what they are used for and how they are recovered after mining.

REEs have numerous applications, with Pensana focusing on their recovery for high-powered magnets for electric vehicles & wind turbines.

Whilst of national strategic importance, it is particularly relevant to East Yorkshire as Pensana is planning to process the ore obtained abroad, at a new state-of-the-art separation facility at Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull.

Join us to discuss the processes, challenges & huge opportunities that lay ahead of us in the biggest energy transition in history.
