Introduction

The 2011 symposium aims at bringing together experts in the field of (bio)process analytics and sensor technology and providing a discussion forum for scientists from both industry and universities. The conference sessions will focus on new technologies in "classical" biotech parameters, such as pH and dissolved oxygen, online analysis in disposable bioreactors, and contributions of sensor technology to the PAT initiative of the FDA.
