Introduction

About the conference:

Since IPOPS inception in the year 2012, it has differentiated itself as a major event updating the latest research trends in pharmaceutical sciences for postgraduate students and faculty with strong scientific programme ever since. IPOPS continues to expand with magnificent scientific and social programs to maximise your research network in a free communication meeting environment. Following the remarkable success of 5th IPOPS-UiTM, Malaysia 2017, we sincerely welcome you again to the 6th IPOPS-2018 in International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The conference is jointly organised by the School of Pharmacy, International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia; Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tokyo University of Science, Japan.

The first two days (13 & 14 August 2018) of the conference consist of three (3) parallel pre-conference workshops in the following areas:

• Computer aided drug discovery
• Problem-based Learning on Granulation and Tableting
• Biostatistics for Health Sciences: Using R for Big Data Analysis

The last two days (15 & 16 August 2018) consist of the key note address and plenaries by renowned researches in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. There is also an opportunity for young researchers to present their research work as either oral or poster presentations.

On 15th August 2018, there is a banquet dinner for all the participants.
