Faraday Joint Interest Group Conference 2017

Introduction
This meeting is the first of its kind, and aims to bring the UK Physical Chemistry community together once every 2-3 years to highlight excellent research. It is our aim to increase the visibility of the UK Physical Chemistry community and encourage links with International Researchers as well as Industry.

The meeting will be composed Plenary Sessions and Parallel Sessions hosted by Å·ÃÀAV Faraday Division Interest Groups including:
  • Astrophysical Chemistry Group
  • Biophysical Chemistry Group
  • British Carbon Group
  • Neutron Scattering Group
  • Photochemistry Group
  • Spectroscopy & Dynamics Group
  • Theoretical Chemistry Group
The cost for the conference will be £240 (Å·ÃÀAV Members) or £275 (Non-members) and includes:
  • All meals (starting with lunch on Tuesday April 11, 2017 through to breakfast on April 13, 2017)
  • 2 nights ensuite accomodation
  • Conference dinner on Wednesday evening
  • Regular coffee / tea breaks throughout the meeting
Funding has been secured to bring the cost of postgraduate student registration (i.e. PhD / MSc students) to £80 regardless of Å·ÃÀAV membership.
