Every 2 years, Zydus Research Center, the research arm of Zydus Cadila, the fourth largest Indian pharmaceutical company holds an international symposium and attracts active participation from the scientific community worldwide. This year the focus of this symposium is on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases such as artherosclerosis, hypertension, heart failure, diabetes and obesity. The event is being co-organized with Center for Integrative Genomics, Switzerland and Indianapolis University, USA. We will have world leading scientists in this area coming together from both academia and industry for 4 days, Feb 2-5, 2009, at Zydus Research Center, Ahmedabad, India.
