This event will include a session in Crown Paints' fantastic Learning Academy where students will find out about the history of the company and about Crown Paint as a business. This will be followed by a tour of the research and development (R&D) labs where students will speak to Crown Paints' R&D scientists and see that chemistry can be performed in paint tins as well as beakers! Finally, there will be a tour of the two on-site manufacturing plants where water-based and alkyd paints are made. The visit will finish with a free lunch.
