Introduction

This workshop focuses on the innovative developments in Lab-on-a-Chip (LOC) technology and the applications of microfluidics in diagnostics, biological, material, pharmaceutical, and environmental sciences. In addition, the technical barriers, application challenges and the future possibilities of LOC technologies will be explored and discussed as well. This meeting will also highlight the industrial developments, processes and insights from both major and minor companies associated with the manufacture of microfluidics and LOC technologies.
