Å·ÃÀAV Elections 2025: Voting now open for members

Voting is now open for Å·ÃÀAV members in this year's all-important elections, with more than 100 nominees vying to fill 27 vacancies across our society.
Members have until 5pm UK time on 26 May to cast their ballots, with the winners announced at this summer’s Annual General Meeting on 7 July. .
Competition is particularly fierce this year for a handful of roles, with the full candidate lists available to view below.
A remarkable 18 candidates are vying for two spots on the Inclusion and Diversity Committee, while 13 nominees are standing to fill two elected members positions on the Environment, Sustainability and Energy Community Council.
Meanwhile, 10 hopefuls are aiming for a place as the new elected member of the Education Community Council, with the same number also running to fill the two places on the Materials Community Council.
The shortlist, revealed in full below, comes after our Nominations Committee met to evaluate nominations against the role descriptors for several key roles. The group came together to look at all the applications for elected Trustee, elected member of the Member Communities Board, elected member of the Professional Standards Board and elected member of the Inclusion and Diversity Committee, and agreed a shortlist of candidates who met the person specification.
