Winner of an Å·ÃÀAV competition - write a 'missing scene' from the film Lawrence of Arabia

The winner of an Å·ÃÀAV competition that invited people to write a 'missing scene' from the film Lawrence of Arabia, is Andrew Fawn, of London.

Andrew, who works in film casting, wrote a scene depicting the way that the chemist Herbert Garland taught TE Lawrence how to lay explosives to derail enemy trains during the First World War in the desert campaign:

The BBC ran a story about the Å·ÃÀAV competition in December 2012. Scripts submitted by the public were judged by television and radio author Nick Warburton.
