The 欧美AV's Environmental Chemistry Group committee is delighted to announce that #EnvChem2026 Chemistry of the Whole Environment will take place at the University of Warwick 鈥 The Slate on 2鈥3 July 2026.

Abstract Call

This is an unmissable event for early career and established environmental chemists 鈥 a unique opportunity to present your research and hear the cutting edge in all aspects of environmental chemistry across a programme of presentations from delegates who submit abstracts in the themes listed below.

  • Climate and Environmental Processes in Soil, Water and Air: Carbon cycling, capture and storage, and biogeochemical fluxes.
  • Emerging Contaminants and Novel Techniques: Innovations in detection, characterisation and remediation, including sustainable analytical approaches.
  • The Food鈥揈nvironment鈥揅limate Nexus: Chemistry linking food systems, soil health and environmental emissions.
  • Atmospheric Chemistry: Indoor air, greenhouse gases, aerosols and air鈥揷limate interactions.
  • Ecotoxicology and Planetary Health: Impacts of contaminants and climate stressors on ecosystems and human health.
  • Data-Driven Environmental Chemistry: AI, machine learning and big data for prediction and integration.

In recognition of Dr Peter Baugh's contribution to our field, the British Mass Spectrometry Society will offer two 5-year BMSS memberships as prizes for Early Career Scientists.

We have reserved a limited number of hotel-style rooms at the Radcliffe and Scarman venues, located just 1鈥2 minutes' walk from The Slate. Rooms are en-suite, comfortable doubles (available for single or twin occupancy), and fully equipped with towels and toiletries.

Rooms are available for Thursday 2 July 2026 (80 rooms available) and are held at a preferential rate until 21 May 2026, after which availability cannot be guaranteed.

Getting There & Parking

Free parking is available for all conference delegates. The University operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, so vehicles must be registered in advance or on arrival.
