The Å·ÃÀAV's Environmental Chemistry Group committee is delighted to announce that #EnvChem2026 Chemistry of the Whole Environment, will take place at the University of Warwick- The Slate on July the 2nd and 3rd 2026.

Abstract Call

This is an unmissable event for early career and established environmental chemists. A unique opportunity to present your research and hear the cutting edge in all aspects of environmental chemistry across a programme of presentations from delegates who submit abstracts in the themes listed below.

  1. Climate and Environmental Processes in Soil, Water and Air: Carbon cycling, capture and storage and biogeochemical fluxes.
  2. Emerging Contaminants and Novel Techniques: Innovations in detection, characterisation and remediation, including sustainable analytical approaches.
  3. The Food-Environment-Climate Nexus: Chemistry linking food systems, soil health and environmental emissions.
  4. Atmospheric Chemistry: Indoor air, greenhouse gases, aerosols and air-climate interactions.
  5. Ecotoxicology and Planetary Health: Impacts of contaminants and climate stressors on ecosystems and human health.
  6. Data-Driven Environmental Chemistry: AI, machine learning and big data to prediction and integration.
