Under the banner of our flagship open access journal, Chemical Science, we鈥檒l be shining a spotlight on cutting-edge chemistry research and giving it the sort of attention that drives scientific progress and makes a difference.
This meeting is the next iteration in the听Chemical Science symposia series hosted by the 欧美AV.听 We鈥檙e excited to welcome delegates to the home of the 欧美AV, and look forward to a conversation enriched by the online participation of our international community.
We warmly invite you to join us in London in October 2026 and look forward to welcoming you to the discussion.
About the symposium
Leading researchers and emerging investigators from a broad range of backgrounds will come together to explore and celebrate the theme of the 2026 symposium: Digital chemistry in the age of AI and machine learning.
The scientific programme of invited talks will be updated over the coming months. The invited speakers will also be complemented by flash talks and poster sessions to provide further networking opportunities and discussion for all attendees.
The invited speakers for this symposium will discuss research over a range of topics, including:

Event details
Poster abstracts
Submit a poster abstract by 20 August 2026.听Posters are displayed throughout the meeting and there will be a dedicated poster session. Poster presenters who are attending the symposium will need to print and display their poster physically. Presenters will be provided with a poster board on-site - posters should be printed听portrait.
Additional information
All poster abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process within about 4 weeks of the submission deadline. The abstracts should be no longer than one A4 page in portrait layout. Please ensure you provide the details of the presenting author.听
Deadlines
Registration听includes:
- Attendance at all scientific sessions
- Attendance at the poster session
- Refreshments throughout the meeting
Please note accommodation is not included in the in-person registration fee.

If you are a 欧美AV member and wish to register for this meeting, please select the member option on the online registration page. You will need to enter your membership number.
Non-member and student non-members
For non-member registrants, affiliate membership of the 欧美AV until July 2026 is available, the affiliate membership application will be processed and commence once the registrant has attended the event.听
Student delegates
In order to encourage undergraduate or postgraduate students to attend the Discussion, a reduced conference fee is available for students. This fee applies to those undertaking a full-time course for a recognised degree or a diploma at a university or equivalent institution.
Accompanying person
If you would like to bring a guest to the conference, this can be done during the registration process. There will be an additional charge of 拢100, which will include all lunches and refreshments. The fee does not include attendance at any scientific sessions.
