This three day course is organised by the Institute of Process Research and Developement (iPRD) at the University of Leeds. The course is designed to familiarise scientists and engineers with modern chemistry and its applications. Presented in association with the 欧美AV Process Technology Group, and formerly the IChemE approved short course in Chemistry for Chemical Engineers, the lectures, the workshops and the demonstrations provided will be very useful for scientific and technical personnel wishing to refresh their chemical knowledge and understanding. Topics of interest include Polymers, Dyes, Biological Chemistry, Radioactivity, Electrochemistry & Corrosion, Particles & Colloids, Green Chemistry, Advances in Synthesis, Phosphorus, Crystallisation, Analytics, and Carbon Capture & Storage. Extensive Notes covering the course contents will be provided to attendees.
