SciMed is holding a Seminar on Fuels and Flammables Testing where the speakers will be talking about the methods, techniques and instruments used for many of the common testing requirements for both fuels and flammable chemicals.
Topics will include:
Flashpoint testing 鈥� methods and instruments
Distillation and Vapour Pressure
Oxidation and Corrosion
Diesel and Biodiesel Specification and Testing
Cloud Point, Viscosity, Lubricity, AICT
Freezing Point, Density
XRF methods for elemental analysis in fuel refining.
Combustion methods 鈥� new and improved methodologies for N and S testing
Equipment will be on display and there will be a tour of the demonstration labs.
Our speakers will include Vincent Colantuoni, Product Manager for Koehler, Matt Allen, Product Manager from SciMed and John Austin, XRF Applications Specialist from SciMed.
We will also be holding a Poster session featuring articles and information on various fuel testing methods plus some hands-on opportunities with some of the equipment used for fuel testing (get in touch about bringing your samples).
