Introduction

Durham University will host the 2021 edition of the Meeting of Inorganic Chemists Recently Appointed (MICRA) from 1st-3rd Sept 2021. Attendees are expected to be at an early stage in their career. This includes early career academics, independent research fellows and experienced postdoctoral researchers. All attendees are encouraged to give short presentations on their work in order to introduce themselves to the community and potentially inspire new collaborations. With emphasis on both scientific and social events, the meeting is a great opportunity to get to know the early career researchers across the UK and beyond working in inorganic chemistry.
