Meet at the Lowther pub, YO1 9SN (this is about 50m from the boarding point for the cruise) from 1400. The cruise boat departs at 1445 and will take about an hour for the trip up and down river, giving a good view of the city centre and surroundings. Tea, coffee or something stronger available on board.
Note that parking is at a premium in the area and you may find it more convenient to enter the city centre by bus.
Tickets are 拢10 or 拢8.50 for seniors (60+).
