This CPD will be delivered in collaboration with the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust and the 欧美AV. It will enable teachers to link with health professionals to enhance subject knowledge, widen understanding of the technical concepts used in the industry and to develop an understanding of chemistry and STEM career pathways in the medical industry. Teachers will be given an introduction to the day by Kate Teage from the Learning and Development Team at RCHT with information about the 'Get in Cornwall' programme, before having the opportunity to go to a selection of labs - clincal chemistry, haematology, histopathology and micobiology - and meet with a range of professionals. The day will also feature a 欧美AV session delivered by Kate Whetter, Education Coordinator for South West England.
