ChemCareers 2016: Career inspiration - a career in energy.

Introduction
Dr Jeff Hardy is a Senior Research Fellow at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment and also Acting Head of Science for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change WG3 Technical Support Unit, based at Imperial College London. His research focuses on society led low carbon transformations. He is on a 12-month sabbatical from Ofgem, where he was Head of Sustainable Energy Futures, focusing on non-traditional business models, horizon scanning future energy systems, climate change adaptation and sustainable development. Previously has worked at the UK Energy Research Centre, the Energy Generation and Supply Knowledge Transfer Network, the Å·ÃÀAV, the Green Chemistry Group at the University of York and at Sellafield as research chemist in a nuclear laboratory.
