Introduction

This half-day meeting us to celebrate the life of Professor Nicholas Charles Handy (17 June 1941 - 2 October 2012). The following speakers have accepted to give a talk: Julia Rice (unfortunately cancelled due to personal reasons), Roger Amos, Peter Knowles (biographical), David Tozer, David Tew, Mike Bearpark, Robert Harrison and David Clary (closing remarks). Tea and coffee will be provided in the break. There are no registration formalities.
